A 17-year-old boy has confessed to killing his entire family in a shocking crime that has left the quiet Lombardian town of Paderno Dugnano in disbelief. The young man, whose identity has not been disclosed due to his age, initially called the police early this morning, claiming he had killed his father after discovering that the man had fatally stabbed his mother and 12-year-old brother. However, after a lengthy interrogation, the boy admitted to being the sole perpetrator of all three murders.

The tragic incident took place inside the family's home on Via Anzio, where the lifeless bodies of the father, the mother, and the younger brother, were discovered. The victims were found in the younger boy's bedroom, all still dressed in their nightwear. The 17-year-old, who was initially treated as a witness and only suspected of his father's murder, eventually changed his story, confessing that he had killed all three family members.

According to the teenager's initial statement, he awoke around 1:00 a.m. to the sound of screams. He claimed he found his father sitting next to the bodies of his mother and brother, who had been stabbed to death. The boy then allegedly took the knife and attacked his father, killing him in what he described as an act of retaliation. However, under further questioning, he admitted to being the one who had committed all the murders, with no other individuals involved.

Forensic investigators are currently examining the crime scene, searching for evidence to support the boy's account and reconstruct the sequence of events. The knife used in the killings, found outside the house, and the blood traces from the numerous stab wounds are being carefully analyzed. Autopsies will be conducted to determine the exact cause and time of death for each victim.

Neighbors of the family, who are well-known in the community as historic builders, expressed shock at the news. They described the family as quiet, hardworking, and financially well-off, with no prior indications of any trouble. "We didn't hear anything during the night", one neighbor said, "They were a normal, peaceful family."

A former classmate of the 17-year-old described him as a "quiet and studious boy" who participated in sports and was the "last person you would expect something like this from". The young man, 18, who had lost touch with the 17-year-old after high school, was in disbelief when he learned of the tragedy.

The Monza prosecutor's office and the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Milan are both involved in the investigation as authorities work to fully understand the circumstances that led to this horrific crime. The investigation is ongoing, with officials seeking to confirm the boy's confession and rule out the involvement of any other parties.
